Hello!
Welcome! I am a graduate of the Television Production & Media Management program at Drexel University. My passion is working in scripted or studio television, ideally in the editing process. Ever since I started watching comedies with my sisters in middle school, I have wanted to get into this industry. I have always loved the way television tells a story over a long period of time, it gives the viewer a chance to really connect with the characters and grow with them, and that is one of the biggest reasons I want to be a part of this creative process. Stories like these have had a huge impact on me while I’ve gone through some rough times, and my goal one day is to be able to tell my own stories that could have that same impact on others!
My main area of expertise is in post-production; however, I am well versed in every aspect of the production process thanks to my education at Drexel. I had the opportunity to create a multitude of content during my time there, from digital art, to photography, with tons of student films in between. I have had so much fun over the years making so many things and learning about new ways I can express my creativity.
I believe that every aspect of production has an impact on the story telling process. In my case, for example, the editor is responsible for choosing the right shot at the right time, along with any reactions and emotions, and that has a huge impact on the overall story! I have learned so much about how certain cuts can make or break a piece over the years.
I am currently looking for employment anywhere I can get my creative juices flowing, ideally somewhere in the post production world. I’ve worked with many different editors and am well versed in media management. My own digital organizational skills have made me a sought-after assistant editor back in college, and I’d love to take these skills with me to kick off my professional career as an editor! I can’t wait to learn more and perfect my craft, and one day maybe even find a way to tell my own stories!
